1.「We’re doing a Secret Santa at work.」
Secret Santaは、くじ引きで誰か一人にだけプレゼントをする欧米の定番ゲームですが、日本ではあまり知られていないですよね。

2.「I’m so behind on my Christmas shopping.」
クリスマス用の買い物まだ全然できてなくてヤバい～みたいな表現です。欧米では、友人間、家族間でもプレゼントを渡す事は頻繁にある為です。

3.「Everywhere’s packed this time of year.」
どこも混んでるね～という事です。混んでる表現は、crowded, jam-packedなど色々あります。

4.「Work’s been insane with all the year-end deadlines.」
年末納期の仕事で仕事がパンパン！という事ですね笑。

5.「Here’s to an even better year.」
乾杯するときなどに使う乾杯の音頭の表現として一般的なものです。

6.「I’m on holiday mode already.」
もう休みモードだわ。。という言い方ですね。早い人なら12月に入ればもう年末年始の事で頭がいっぱい、なんて事もありますかね笑。

7.「I’m not really in the mood to work.」
(年末年始に近くなってきて)もう仕事の気分じゃないわ、という事ですね笑。

8.「I feel like I didn’t get anything done this year.」
年始に決めた自分への誓いや、決意などについて、年末の棚卸時に、「ヤバい。。」と感じた経験のある方は多いはずです笑。
